#Puzzled Pint Style Guidelines ##Puzzles - The title should be in the "Dakota" font, found in the Dropbox under assets. Make it a size reasonable to the rest of your puzzle, roughly 24pt, but anywhere between 18-32pt is probably good, depending on the style of your puzzle. - The month's "bug" should be included. Typically, the top-left corner, but the style and layout of your puzzle may dictate it should go somewhere else. - [Assuming we go with bylines, which I think we will...] Include a byline. Make it about 10pt, gray (50% black), in a Helvetica-like font: Helvetica, Helvetica Neue, Arial. Again, the format of your puzzle may dictate it makes more sense to deviate from this format. - PDF format for printed puzzles. MP3 for audio. MP4 (and/or Youtube) for video. ##Solutions - Typically, this is red text overlayed on the puzzle. - If your puzzle uses a different format (audio, video, assembly, etc.), then feel free to write the solution in a format that makes more sense for your puzzle's format. - PDF or text format. ##Location Puzzle - Include a write-in answer line that points to the solution URL, such as: http://www.puzzledpint.com/puzzles/december_2013/drinks/____________ - Also include some boilerplate text that this is the location puzzle and what to do with the answer, such as: This is the location puzzle for Puzzled Pint on January 14th, 2014. It should always be in the correct font. - Include text to indicate month and year, use the Dakota font unless design dictates otherwise. - PNG file, with the smaller of the width or height dimension being __TODO__px.
